One of the many pleasures of having granddaughters is that you get to make neat girly things. I had three boys so the girls were a new experience for me. These are personalized (first initial) jewelry/keepsake band saw boxes that they can cherish for a lifetime.

In order of appearance:

“R” – Riley….Wenge and Yellowheart with Yellowheart pull.

“I” – Ivy…a dotted I…Mahogany and Purpleheart with Padauk pulls.

“L” – Leah…Walnut and Oak plywood with Padauk pulls.

“Q” – Quinn…Chechen, Oak plywood and Walnut with Padauk pull.

“A” – Autumn…Cherry and Maple with Padauk leaf shaped (autumn) pull.

“A” – Avery…Padauk and Padauk-Maple racing strip center strips and pull.

Very thoughtful gifts that are obviously made just for each one. Must have been very fun to design and then to give these to them.

I’m sure the girls will love having something handmade from their granddad. Nice work!
