I built this low kitchen cabinet for my Daughter to fit under a window. I built it out of Birch plywood

to get a smooth finish for painting, I saved some of the scraps and tried to get a primer that would

hide the plywood edges but nothing worked. I don’t like that edging that has to be ironed on and I

could not find any without glue, so I made my own edging, I had a piece of pine with real straight grain.

I ran it through my planner to get the same thickness as the plywood and cut some 1/16 thick strips

that I glued on.

I built a jig to bend the end pieces and glued them all on.

Looks like the edging turned out great. Having more storage is always helpful.
