This box, cabinet. I built in 1977, I was 18 a senior in high school. Dad had just bought the Craftsman 113 (also pictured and the center piece in my shop today) so I built this to place his 26” top box on.

The lady next door saw it and had me build her one, a little larger to place between her washer and dryer. I remember she called the lumber yard and had them bring me a sheet of plywood! Small town Kentucky in ‘77. Can’t recall if there was any financial comps, as mom, dad and I were always helping them.
We even one night installed an attic pull down stair case, he bought a 36” wide and had 24” on center trusses. We cut that baby and framed in an opening. Our builder was their builder and my boss, they freaked out!

I’m giving it a tune up, going to add pulls and a catch after 42 years, why not! After another coat of my Grizzly Green this will be my mortising machine base. Found a scratch and dent at HF about a year ago and decided it’s time.

Anyhow for the latest, the adirondack set finished and delivered Saturday afternoon!
