Hi, all. It’s been a while since I posted and I wanted to show my latest small commission project, an Idaho cribbage board. It’s about 18.5 inches tall and 1.75 inches thick.

The holes are all laid out in CorelDraw and then printed and pasted to the walnut board for cutting and drilling, LOTS OF DRILLING. I get into my zen zone doing the holes and countersinking. i think the counter sinking adds a lot to the play of the game and the look of the board. The handmade pegs are just funneled down into the holes.

The pegs are made from piano wire and a turned wood top. I made some free form shapes for this board and then painted them some fun colors. I finish with a coat of poly to protect them for years.

Peg and card storage are in the back.

Thanks for looking.
