Pie safe with glass doors. Live oak is very heavy.

Clean, crisp, tight, well executed and solid wood. Bravo. I would have liked to have seen the side to see how you integrated the legs and the panels (floating or fixed).

Thanks for the kind comments. The plan is available for free from the Fine Woodworking website. The sides panels are floating and made from glued up live oak scraps planed to 1/2”. The back is birch plywood. Here’s a pic of the side.

Nice looking pie safe. That Live Oak looks great, what did you use to stain it so evenly?

I used “American Walnut” oil based stain from General Finishes. The live oak is real dense and seems to absorb it pretty evenly.
