I made this clamp cleaning rack out of a 2×4 and some 1.5” PVC pipe! This method works wonderfully to remove built up glue and gunk on your clamps. My cleaning solution is white vinegar. And hour of soak time and your clamps can be wiped clean with a scotchbright pad.
I have a step-by-step walkthrough of the build along with materials on my website:

You can also watch the full build video on my youtube channel
You can follow me on Instagram, Facebook as well.
Thanks in advance for checking it out!

Great idea. I never thought of removing the glue with vinegar.
Thanks for sharing.

so for a while I used vinegar for rust removal and metal cleaning. I left something in too long, and it pitted like crazy. Then I found some items I cleaned broke very easily.
The cause was Hydrogen embrittlement. 1 hour is enough to cause it. So be careful when really gronking down on that clamp.
