This is a makeup desk I recently completed for my girlfriend. She’s a makeup artist and has an unbelievable amount of makeup to store, along with brushes and various other tools. Therefore, there are 12 deep drawers in this project to give her lots of storage space. The top is of course glass, although I’d choose thinner glass if I were doing the project again. That’s one heavy piece of glass!
This desk is based on the Wood Whisperer’s executive desk design, which was a huge help and taught me a lot. The project is made entirely of poplar, with the exception of the bottom of the top (if that makes any sense). That piece is baltic birch for strength.
Thanks for looking!

Looks awesome! I have to build one of these for my wife. Its currently 4th on my future projects timeline. I like the idea of a glass top.

Thank you! The interior of the drawers is finished with Arm-R-Seal and the exterior is General Finishes Enduro White Poly in satin (sprayed with HVLP).
