Just completed what I call the twins, walnut and maple, finished with water based poly. The flocking really does reduce the sanding time as it hides saw cuts.

A Couple of really nice BS boxes, you have a gift for making them, and it’s getting better. I love me some whimsy, and between the playful shape, and those not store bought pulls, they are whimsical.

Nice job, thanks for posting.

Very nice design & execution. Can’t see the cut entry lines either.
What blade width & tpi did you use?

I use a 3/16 – 4 TPI, seems to do the trick for most curves, even the more challenging ones.
Thanks for your comment.

I really like those boxes. A few years ago I built something like that, except the design was a sailboat. Is this your design?

Great build on these bandsaw boxes. This is among the nicest I’ve seen. I like your selection of woods and your finish as well.

Phil –
I’m using the same blade width & tpi for most of my boxes too… perhaps not with the same success as you though.

If you don’t mind sharing, did you achieve the “sharp” corners on the drawers by making complete horizontal cuts on the box body & then doing the verticals?
Thanks.

Unique …kind of ’’cabinet’’ design
