Here is another box influenced by Andys Palm Box. I love this design and they are not hard to make at all. I said in my last posting i was making another box, well this is it. I fill this one turned out better as the lid and hinge was concern. I love the look of the colors of the wood. I took a picture of both boxes i made. Thanks for the comments on the last one.

These look great! Andy’s influence spreads…
I’ve got a bunch of scraps laying around and really want to make a few of these. What are you using for the hinge pins?

Hey live4ever i used a brass rod that Andy said in his tutorial. I bought the brass rod at lowes i drilled the hole in the wood, drill it in deep enough so you can tap it in about a quarter of an inch then i super glue a dowel to keep it from comming out. Thats how i did it.

way to go monty…yea i can see you got the lid on this one a bit tighter…i think there both great, but it does make ya feel good when ya make thos little improvements …grand slam…....out of the park….....whats next buddy….maybe you should come up with something new for all of us…your the pro of boxes…....wait till we warm up here…ill have to catch up….happy holidays buddy….merry christmas….....grizz
