I have been intrigued by and have admired this table design since I first saw a photo of it in a book decades ago. The original table (which is now in the Metropolitan Museum of Art) was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for the Francis Little House in or about 1913. The original was constructed of oak; my copy is somewhat simplified pine and plywood construction. This is not an exact copy; I did not have plans but scaled a photo for some key dimensions. I also slightly changed the height and depth to better fit the intended use (reference table in an office). The design has long been a favorite of mine and I finally decided to make a copy for my use.

Really nice piece. I like FLW’s work and it great to see it interpreted 100 years after it was originally designed.

Unique design and very well done. FLW would be proud.
