Last November Motoman posted his picture of this jaguar. I loved it and had to give it a try. He was kind enough to tell me where to purchase the pattern so here is my try at it. I have not framed it yet, kinda thinking I might try staining on it. Got to think about for a while, I have not done it before.

It is cut in 1/2” thick Oak, 15” x 12”.

Looks a bit like my little pussy cat Paul. LOL
I cannot imagine how long that took, you guys have the patience of a saint.
Be careful about the staining idea.

Great job.

Beautiful job. Don’t stain it.

My idea of staining was to color it the color of a Jaguar. White around the nose, kinda a light yellowish-golden in the head fading into a darker orangeish-brownish as it went back,,, but with no staining experience, I’ll experiment with something easier that I can throw away.

A fantastic job of cutting! Way to many hours invested to risk a stain of any kind!

That cat definitely looks like a hungry cat!

Incredible job. Just imagining making all of those cuts makes my head hurt.
