Long time since my last post, here is a cremation urn i have turned on my wood lathe. The pictures show how i did it. I start by cutting my segments for the rings and glue them, the first 5 rows are glued on my bench then put on the lathe to start the shaping of the inside ,it is easier like this because it is not to deep yet, the others ring are glued on the lathe row by row and i keep shaping the inside and outside. Happy turning! this project is so much fun to do, you have to take your time. For the wood i used rosewood, purpleheart and mahogany.
