I am giving a presentation at the local woodworking store on cabinet making so I hate dragging the full size ,router table to the store. So I made a portable table out of Baltic Birch plywood. The fence is a rockler fence I got for twenty dollars at a yard sale. I put my Kreg router lift in it with a Bosch router. The Kreg table has a Triton router in it so I don’t need a lift. It

Nice router table. Sure it will get great reviews at the woodworking store.

Nicely done.
That would work great for me!

That’s a good looking portable router table and lift.

Amazing what we can make and how well it works compared to the super fancy toys (errr – equipment) many of us have in our shops.

If you get a chance, get some pictures during your presentation and make a blog of it so the LJ folks can learn from you as well.

Nice work, making your own lets you customize and adapt to your needs and use.

I really like having access to more than one router table. A big one for ever day use, but nothing wrong with a few portables like this so if/when you get a more complex project like door frames you can have more than one set up at any given time, so as to not subject yourself to error in redoing set ups.

Looks like this one has all the necessary ingredients. Thanks for sharing.

What a really good idea for “remote” work.
