Boys & Girls as Ducky says. lol

I started my next project, compliments of Dutchy (Thanks Buddy). Here are pictures of my progress so far. The build is mostly red oak and walnut. I’m also thinking about making the seats out of zebrawood. What do you think? Is anyone else building this vehicle? This is a fun build and I’m taking my time with it.

More pictures to come…....soon!

Dutchy, have you thought about putting an engine in the Buick. I need to look into what kind of engine is in a 1932 Buick sedan. The wheels are turning in my head. So many ideas….lol

Can’t wait to see the progress!

-- Extra screws left over are just evidence I found a better way to put it together.

No I have not thought about an engine. It would make the build more difficult. This time I would make an easier build than my first tree plans.

You can also buy wheels, and thers is a blog about making the wheels.

Buy the wheels…...did I read that correctly. Nope ain’t happening. Making everything by hand. No store bought items on my Buick. Made in the USA babe! Lol

Yeh, agree J’... I think Dutchy must have made a pilgrimage to one of those wacky Amsterdam shops…

Looks like it’s coming along very nicely! Can’t wait to see the finished piece as you continue to update us! Reckon there are a lot of people who are going to want to see what else is going to go on the model!

Gents, here is where I’m at right now. All I have left to do is make the door handles, mats for the fenders, side mirrors, front and rear bumpers and the luggage rack and luggage. Then a finish with Danish oil.

I wish I had started a blog for this build. I will have to remember that for the next project.
