Handsaw with Wolves

This saw was designed by Steve Good. It features wolves scrolled into the saw blade. The blade is made from a piece of 1/4” Baltic birch plywood with the handles from 1/4 ” plywood too. I used the Ex 21 scroll saw. The blade was a #3 modified geo. Pegus blade.

who said plywood was delagated to rooftops ?

Thanks for the comment Dick. Baltic birch plywood is not your everyday plywood. There are no voids in it and the exterior is usually defect free.

Mahdee, Yes I put several light coats of clear top coat on the whole saw.
Putty, Yes it is and also a bonus- you won’t get cut handling this saw!

Wow! The internal carvings are unbelievable! They are so vintage-looking and beautiful that I think they would look great on any other masterpieces too. It is also so amusing to know plywood can achieve so much more in real life.
