This plaque was a customer special order and was designed and cut by me. I used a piece of 1/2” red oak for the plaque and a piece of 3/4” pine for the base.

Well cut. I find text/numbers the most difficult to cut.

I personally prefer the outlook of pine and would have used the same material for both the plague as well as the base. Nevertheless, the overall composition looks beautiful with the shine glaring like a champ it should be.
