Since my workshop isn’t large enough to handle a full sized workbench, a mini-work bench seemed like the answer to my problem. After looking at a number of different ones on YouTube, I really liked an extendable one built by Pask Makes. Here’s my adaptation of his, built from walnut, cherry and maple. equipped with a Moxon Vice. The top is laminated birch plywood measuring 13” W x 26” L x 2” D, extendable to 35” L with 12 bench dog holes to handle various tasks.
Although the moxon vice may be a little on the small side, measuring six inches between the screws, it works great on a mini-workbench. To minimize scuffing I applied leather to both faces of the vise.
For a finish I applied three coats of Danish Oil, the last of which I rubbed in, followed by a coat of glossy polyurethane.

Excellent! Can you flip that baby over and show us a pic of the bottom, or did you do it the same as Pask Makes?
