Making the playhouse was inspired by the internet.
It was a big project. Approx. 230 work hours.
The base is from OSB. The basic dimensions are 1.42×1.7 m (56×67 inches), height 2.2 m (86 inches).
The frame is laminated pine. Curved shape formed from glued thin strips.
The frame is covered with paneling. Treated with water-based transparent lacquer.
Windows can be opened.
The roof is covered with pine wood shingles, with rounded ends that are paint marinade red and treated with water-based transparent lacquer.

Thank you for watching.

This is great work in many disciplines. It is simply lovely and a treasure to behold. You have every right to be very proud of this accomplishment. Your Grand Daughter has no Idea how much work went into this – but she knows that you love her.

What a lucky Granddaughter. That is really a cute play house. Not hard to tell it was build by a real craftsman.

Wow! Love the design!
Awesome looking playhouse! Excellent work! Feeling the love you put into this for your Granddaughter! Someday your Granddaughter will know how much work and time went into making this beautiful treasure! I see much more appreciation as time passes.

I have to agree that this looks like a work of love. Most of us know how much work it is to put any kind of curves into our work and this entire house is curves and extremely well done too. I’m sure you granddaughter must really love this playhouse.
