Some of my recent scroll sawn signs. I created the patterns with Inkscape software, then cut from 1/2” red oak for most of the signs.

Very nice pattern making and scrolling.

Amazing indeed.

What kind of blades do you use for that kind of work?

Very nice scroll work, looks perfect and I completely agree with Steve and ArtMann and the messages you display!

Beautiful work Brian. Are these through cuts and backed with some other wood? I ask because they look more carved than scroll sawn at first glance. It would be nice to know how you get such a good affect.

I used Flying Dutchmen Ultra Reverse #5 blades and a DeWalt scroll saw.

These are through cuts in 1/2” red oak using Flying Dutchmen #5 Ultra Reverse blades. I use blue painter’s tape applied directly to the wood, then spray an adhesive like Scotch #77 onto the tape. Press the pattern onto the tape, then drill thru and cut to the pattern. Thanks for the positive comments for my first post!
