Inspired by couple of similar holders I found searching on internet, I made this guitar holder. It’s made of cherry wood, finished with mineral oil and one coat of varnish. Second picture is still unfinished holder. That was just a test in my garage :) Later I add on both sides peaces of fake skin to protect guitar from damaging or scratching. Good thing is that I have to make 5 more of those :) Customer is pleased with result and order 5 more…now I know how many guitars their son have :D

Very nice! I may have to make something like this. I bought some at guitar store and online and they were very ugly, metal rods with a black rubber piece that slides over the metal but slides around. This looks really nice. Did you just make the dimensions as you went or had a plan?

One can never have too many guitars! I do so dislike those black metal holders as well SMP! This looks like a great solution…

Cool design and well made!
Your client obviously likes it too.
It looks like a great holder for guitars.
