Not sure if this type of thing is acceptable. It is a treehouse that I built for the foster kids we have. Will add a small deck and a set of stairs. They have had a lot of fun playing in it.

Very nice!
I hope the “hoa” does not throw a fit over it! Here they would be screaming about it—too tall—need extra permits and all of those things!

Awesome posting. You had me thinking it was a “tree house” because it’s built with what looks like a lot of a tree, then you showed it was actually up in a tree, and not on the ground as I had started to believe. Great fun for kids to have their own place, and such a nice place for kids to have. It looks like it could be an enclosed porch for adult entertainment Kids should be so lucky.

Thanks for posting.

I put plywood on first then glued on the log cookies, there is only air between them I like the contrasting depths. Still need to stain the window side but will have to wait till spring. Thanks for your comments. Yes the kids love it.

Yes, I went through that with the city when I built the Pout House that is beside it. They wanted it moved to the back yard. I have rental suites at the back so live in the front yard. Two years and a whole lot of rigamaroll along with some cash got us a permit.

Thanks for all your comments fellows. I enjoy projects for the yard more than anything. Love gardening and when carpentry can be combined with it ….. a little heaven on earth.
