This was cut off scrap piece from a mantel my mom had made, luckily it was saved from the trash can, and it made a beautiful bench/table. First piece like this I have made and was happy with turn out.

it’s great you had the vision to see the ultimate beauty this piece had,i think most would have written this off to firewood pile.welcome to lumber jocks.

Looks great… how did you decide on the blue color? Unconventional and avant Garde. Really gives the piece a character all it’s own.

I was going to go for a ocean to sand coloring after I seen the blue, I changed that, I loved the color, thanks for comments on first post
