Good looking bowl. I have never see a blank with tape around but could maybe understand faster gluing or something like that. Would you tell us (me) more about that. I always have a lot to learn. Thanks By the way nice looking bunch of projects.

Thanks, Vernon,
I just happened to use some blue painters tape to glue each ring up, and after they set for a while, they were then glued up into a stack. Yes, it saved time gluing it up. I just left it on and started turning.

Nice bowl, I use blue tape all the time as a clamp. I have not made a segment bowl yet, but I was thinging of buying a bunch of hose clamps, maybe I will rethink that seeing your work. Thanks

That’s what I thought. I will give that a try. Have made over 200 segmented bowls and used metal (of various sizes) on all them, but can see some time savings.

Vernon, You have many many Beautiful projects and bowls, I’m sure you have way more experience with these segmented bowls than I. The tape just seamed like a Good way to start.
