A new, large cutting board has been backburnered for a long while. Finally blew the dust off some 8/4 ash I had been sittting on for a decade or so and glued up an edge grain block. Created a curve template, a router with bushing defined the curve. Jigsawed it out rough, template bit in the router table to finish and a few strips of cherry and maple tied it back together. I wanted to throw in some walnut, but was a few inches short.

A few coats of mineral oil follwed by a paraffin wax/mineral oil blend and it’s good to go.

Interesting grain and the curve really set it off.
