My wife and kiddies are in Mexico for the week, but before they left she had the little ones make daddy some artwork for Valentines day. Thought such special art was fitting of a custome frame. Was going to use maple but when i walked over to the jointer, two pieces if cedar caught my eye.
Anyway; simple bridle joint frames coated with danish oil and glaziers points to secure the art. I love the opposing colours. Both cedar but one much darker than the other. First time I have done a no miter frame. Hanging them in the iffice tomorrow.

The frames are almost as beautiful as the artwork.
