NOT a cutting board tree

Despite appearances, this is NOT a cutting board tree! It would be too easy to find them like this. :)

An old friend moved back to town and asked for a shelf to hold some small, woven baskets. This is what I came up with. 6’ tall with 7 shelves 12” x 14”.

Scrap walnut that I can’t use for my trophy shop stuff.

Comments and critiques welcomed, as always.

How stiff are those? I like the openness of it and making it capable of supporting more weight would be interesting. Keeping the thin shelves probably would require a metal frame so some rods could be welded in and covered with wood.

Looks great!

Nice design. Love to see a picture with the baskets.

Agree. At first thought this was an Audio Visual “case”.

Should be able to hold reasonable weight.

Would want to put heavy Amplifiers towards the bottom…....

Does look outstanding!
