Well, last night we wrapped the first present for this year. It’s been a busy one too, and although I didn’t get everything done that I was hoping to….. I did get some really fun ones done. Hopefully the kids will have as much fun playing with them over the years, as I have had in making them the last months.
This set is for my 3 year old daughter who loves elephants :) I was going to make a zoo playset, but this is pretty close I think. There are some grey blocks not pictured that will give some “fencing” for the animals. The animals are cut from 3/4” maple. Then I put my new flex cut knives to work at attempting to learn how to carve. :) It’s nothing fancy, but I am really happy with how a little cutting can transform a “block” animal to life. So these are wrapped and under the tree.
Merry Christmas, and the warmest wishes to all this holiday season!
I will post a few toys now, the ones that are for relatives that do not (or can not) check the site….. the rest will be posted after the holidays.

Too Cool. Nice job with the whole set. I think she has a pretty good zoo there, course she may ask for monkeys next.
Merry Christmas as well.

Very nice work! The little lady will have a lot of enjoyment with them. Also, they will ge great to hand down from generation to generation.
My grandson is named Noah. That would be an appropriate gift along with an ark to keep the animals. Thanks for sharing!
