This is a dedicated shop air cleaner made out of a typical box fan. I took a ton of inspiration from all of the internet and YouTube. There are some great ideas and plans out there. It circulates air through 2 cheap filers in the back and a higher quality filter in the front. It is extremely easy to change filters. I put this one close by where I am working especially when sanding. I will eventually be making another to mount on my ceiling to run most of the time when I am in the shop. I haven’t had it going for long so I can’t tell you what difference I have noticed. I will update on this though! Thanks for looking!

I keep meaning to do something similar, but I also just put the box fan in one window on high…blowing out, then open a window at the opposite end of the shop and start dusting from the open end to the exhaust end with my air gun. Makes a mess in the air, but oddly works well. It is a once a month chore.
