As you can see, I’ve been in my shop lately. Since my leg has recovered, thank God, I can enjoy working again with my wood.
All of the boards are finished with Walnut Oil.

Those look great! Now take any cut offs and combine them into another cutting board.

Great set of boards there Duck … do you use the Cutting Board Designer program or just glue up and cut ‘em ?

These are really great! I’m working on a board right now. Do you mind if I ask why walnut oil? I’ve been trying to figure out how/what to finish mine with.

I’d like to have something that looks nice and stays on the board for a while. I’ve been looking at Tried & True, flax seed oil or salad bowl finish.

Bug,
I use several kind of oil. Walnut just seems to absorb better in the harder wood. I soak them in a big cookie pan for several hours. They don’t seem to dry out as much with the Walnut oil.
