Very nice work Gary. I’ve always wanted to build a guitar or a ukulele, but not having a musical bone in my body, I decided it wouldn’t be any fun if I couldn’t play it after finishing it.

I can’t play it, I’m trying with only 4 strings it seems easier. It can hang out in my home for when friends stop by that can play. It was a fun project that I did just to see how difficult it would be. I learned a few things and sort of want to do another one it didn’t take too long a few weeks. They are offered in 4 sizes. I have never taken up music or played any instrument except possibly tapping piano keys when passing by one.

Very Nice! I can understand the work you put into it. (I’m working on an acoustic.) Looks great!

I got a uke when I was a kid. I learned to play ‘5 ft. two, eyes of blue’ and that was the only song I ever learned to play on it. I do know how to tune one though, using tones from saying the sentence ‘my cat has fleas’. Yes, a four stringer.
