Inspired by a piece of Amish furniture I saw at a local store. Made out of all solid oak. Used pocket holes for the frame.

I think it is simply beautiful. I love it. I was happy to see the pocket holes as I am not a purist and really like seeing good work done using this method of construction.

Thanks! I like using more old fashioned ways to build things but my wife wanted this done in a timely manner. So went with the pocket holes sine it was quick, easy, and make a clean looking joint. I based this off a Amish piece I found and they actually used pocket holes as well.


I think it is simply beautiful. I love it. I was happy to see the pocket holes as I am not a purist and really like seeing good work done using this method of construction.

No you cant! And the storage in this is huge. Just need to add a few shelves on the inside so i can place multiple things in it. But its very functional and looks great!
