I’m not exactly sure what Box Elder is, but it has fantastic burl wood!
Tonight I combined a blank with Amber acrylic and some more cut aluminum can.
Not the most original, but I am trying to refine my process, and you know what they say about practice.
Anyway, I’m going to be searching for some new patterns, hopefully something more original is in the near future.
All the best!

I’m not usually a fan of pens because I really don’t use them, but these are truly beautiful. I wish I had a reason to need a pen.

Maybe we all should restart using pens aw+/-55... after all a PC is too big for a top pocket and my iPhone keeps running out of ink…

PS. And us pen makers would have a greater customer base!

I do a fair amount of computer work also, but I always end up having to sign it, or for it in the end… congratulations to you for not needing a pen anymore, I hope to someday obtain your level of bad-assery! =)
And thank you, I’m glad you like the pens!

Hey T’W’, have you considered a compromise?

Though the cigars still renain my favourite.

If it may tickle your circuitry, they are not cheap, however, Bear Tooth Woods is one of the better priced sources (though the manufacturer now seems to match the undercut price… or the Bear has raised his prices… last time I bought from Bear it was $18 without discounts).

PS. If you try and take out a chip (which can easily be done with cast resin… gradually build up with thick CA, sand rough (80/100 grit), and repeat till it’s “smooth”... then work up through the grits as per normal… should leave a clear finish if you did it right.

PSS. To KISS, note, I’m still only spruiking the cigar for the geeks (and Sierra for the geekettes)

This is a repeat of a comment I made on another project… thought it may be informative

T’W”, not sure whether you are aware of it or not but I’ll take a punt you’re not or some readers may also be a NOT…

For people that don’t write in ink, many have just graduated from crayon and use pencils… either as a stand alone or to frustrate recipients with having to choose, these inserts will replace the Parker refill with a pencil mechanism,

Also have a Sierra version.

LBD, that’s pretty clever alright! I was unaware that a product like that existed. I don’t have much use for a pencil but… lol

Have your say...
