The Entry Level Workbench shown here is a collaboration between myself and Kevin at Kev's Woodworks. I’ve detailed the design while Kevin and his son built the workbench as a father/son project.

All details including dimensions, parts list, tool list, and a full cost breakdown are included in the link below if you would like to build your own bench.

Definitely more than an entry level bench. This bench is all you really need. Looks great.

Agreed, many people would find use for that bench. Definitely a few steps above entry level.

Nice Job

Really cool. Reminds me of the bench I was considering on top of an old built in desk I salvaged. How do you like the insert vise? It’s a bit more than the hardware needed for a wagon vise. But as much as I love the traditional look, the ease of use and installation of the insert makes it oh so tempting.

It’s certainly not as robust as the BC hardware but, it does a nice job.

Thanks. I tend to agree that it is more than entry level. However, Kevin has higher standards than me :).

I agree. I might have to build this one day. Kudos to Kevin.

Links to the vises. Refer to manufacturer’s instructions for mounting
