Sad, sad, sad. Not your project mind you, the clock is FANTASTIC. It’s sad the number of pieces of wood that look like that, that I have tossed into the wood stove. I just wasn’t clever enough to think up this idea, I’m glad you were, this is really a beautiful clock. Thank you for sharing and I hope you don’t mind if I give it a try someday.

I find that it is rare for homeowners to use clocks as a decorative piece. However, I personally admire different forms of clocks not only to be fixed onto the wall but as its own masterpiece on tables and storage cabinets too. They add a touch of class to an otherwise boring furniture.

That’s a wonderful piece of wood to have made a clock out of! This is making me think that I need to keep my eyes opened a little wider the next time I go on a walk somewhere. Some little bit of wood might be put in storage and cured slowly to make another work of art like this one day perhaps?
