This is a small trinket box that I made. First time doing the coves with my table saw. Really happy with the way that it turned out. Mix of Pine, Black walnut and African Mahogony.

The grooves are a beautiful way to put this all together! It’s a lovely contrast and I think it’s a great pairing of the 2 woods for this little storage box.

A storage box for a gift idea might seem basic. However, it means a lot more personal with some sentimental value with the engraving or ornaments included inside. It would be seen as more meaningful as compared to a simple layout of a gift box that might look ordinary or even dull. It can also be customised to suit certain occasions depending on the person receiving it.
