3 D Platter 310 mm in diameter with Kauri outer segmented frame. Turned from Kahikatea, Kauri and Jarrah.

This piece has great visual impact – fancy way to say it caught my eye :) I admire your skill. Would you mind sharing how you married the 3D blocks section to the segmented ring? I have struggled on this part.

Mate, this is a stunner. I’m in awe of people who do these 3D projects, as I have a real issue with straight lines, haha. What is Kahikatea like to turn?
