Based on carving by @Bagushevich
http://lumberjocks.com/projects/394089 (second variant)
Used this to bribe my friend who hosted the Ninth Yule Games. Cheating is encouraged so it’s fine. Also won the craftsmanship award with this so win-win.
Basswood with acrylic paint and sealant. The walking stick is bamboo (yes from a skewer :) )
[And FWIW] Shot with Nikon D5200 w/Nikon DX 35mm f1.8 lens. Post processed w/ Abode Lightroom CC.
Thanks for looking!

Great carving, but for the Tenth Yule Games you might have to up your bribe – better get started on copying Bagushevich’s Viking Horde now. LOL Congrats on the craftsmanship award. What was your prize and how did you do in the Games? (And what are the Yule Games? Sounds like fun.)
Thanks for posting.

I like him, a wizened old fart, but that Left eye leaves him looking like he’d kick yer grass, given a bit of reason.
Thanks for posting.

I’m thinking of taking up carving. Since I can’t build anything in the shop that looks decent. Would be less money outta pocket if I screw up a carving.
