This is a sofa table made of Poplar for the frame and legs and a birch Plywood top with edge banding. Joints were biscuited.
My daughter was of the mind that “Just slap it together, it is going behind a sofa”. I still agonized over each joint. The taper on the leg really lightened the piece visually. Stained and polyurethane finish.

Looks good, nice taper on the legs.
I have heard similar comments many times – just get it done – about this high, about this wide and about this long.

It is not her job to know… You are the expert as long as she is happy and not one of those that after it is done has all kinds of helpful comments. I love it guy.

Thank you all. I must say she was happy when she saw it. That’s why the projects will keep coming. I have found that the design is not as important to them as the “color” is.
