My first attempt at working with spalted maple..quite a few cracks but turned out ok..choose a paduak top and bottom for accent..comments are always appreciated

Spalted maple is a beautiful wood in itself but ( imho ) the paduak is more than icing on the cake. I agree with Ivan,nice shape

Really nice! Love spalted maple. Love the combo with the paduak. Ya some of the punky spalted maple needs to be stabilized. Learned the hard way on some pens.
