Cold, wet weather has driven me inside to do a few mosaics.

Woods: Wenge, Birch, Mahogany, Purpleheart, Lacewood, Yellowheart, Walnut, Larch, Holly, Zebrawood, Monkeywood and Cherry.

Very nice. You definitely have a lot of patience to cut that many small pieces at those exact angles

Look very appealing. Nice to have a hobby that keeps you busy on cold, snowy days.

A very fine art piece.

It has a native American look to it too.

Good looking mosaic. Nice color contrasts.

I’m curious how you glue your patterns.

Thank you everyone for the kind compliments.

EarlS – I painstakingly set the center star as close to perfect as I can – takes a good 3 hours. The pieces have a tolerance of .005. Once the center is down, then it’s just a matter of starting the next row and going in circles keeping everything as tight as possible. I use Titebond Thick and Quick
