Hi:
Today I finished my fifth bandsaw box, this one made for my lovely wife of 43 years!
I used hard birch and cherry, with clear finish. The handles are tight wood. The box drawers were lined with flannel (adhered to the wood with spray adhesive). Two drawers have inserts, and all drawers have dividers.
This is my own pattern which in turn is an improvisation of bandsaw boxes I have seen online.
I have yet to build a matching “ring box” with slotted rows to hold my wife’s many rings. Will post that later.

This box is a keeper, not only looks good but has quite a bit of utility.

I’ve made band saw boxes but not one of them had nearly 30 pieces, congratulations on a fine looking project and just as important keeping track of all those pieces.

I like!!!!!
Thanks for posting
The devil in me has to ask, you’ve made five, and this is for the Wife of 43 years. The question is obviously who got the first 4, and are you currently housed outdoors with the family dog.

She’s my wife of 43 years because nothing and no one could compete with her.

Very creative design and nice contrasting woods, great job!
I use DonJer flocking to line drawers, it works very well. You might like it also.

I like the gull wing design on the top and the contrasting pulls.

I posted the pattern so that anyone on lumberjocks could copy it. Best way to do that is to enlarge the image on your computer display and then take a screen shot. Then print the resulting image, and take it to your drawing table.

That is probably one of the best bandsaw boxes I’ve seen.
