Needed a break from working on the biggest scroll saw projects I have attempted. I found this project at Decided to try it. All pieces are done by compound cutting. I have done very little compound pieces, but it really is fun and fascinates me. You cut the piece from two sides of a piece of wood, the part is in the block when done. It is like finding a little treasure in the block of wood… okay that is a little mellow dramatic, but it is fun. I was anxious to do this because my daughter use to dance in the local production of “The Nutcracker” when she was a little ballerina many, many, more that she wants to think about, years ago…

That is really cool!

Very nice!

Too really appreciate that piece you have to be a scroller! A lot harder to do than many think it is.
