Made up some whisky flight trays to sell for Christmas at a local artisan decor shop. It’s wonderful to see how much the figure comes out from a piece with a light swipe of oil before the finish coats. These were about 18” long and 5” wide. Made the depressions for the glasses with my CNC. Looks a little better with out the fostner dimple And I can fit the square glasses in a square depretion. My wife finds the vintage glass at area thrift shops.

Well I’ll have a shot of that Tim. Great looking lumber. Nice project. Might be a better seller for New Years.

For those wood workers in northern Illinois, southern Wis. I go to Kirkland sawmill in Kirkland IL. Great place great prices. And if you’re there in the morning there’s a great fast at the family diner across and down the street. I haven’t been for lunch but I’ll bet it’s great too.
