Fun little projects for gifts.

Pens are pink ivory, Blackwood, padauk and a couple of acrylics.

The case was modified to house the acrylic pen and wood burned and filled with paint to add the name.

Wow those came out really nice! What is the name of the kit in picture #2?

I also really like the display case. What’s going on in picture #5 under All of the blanks?

They came out great and will be really nice gifts for someone. Can you tell me what style pen these are? I like the simplicity and the size very much. Thanks.

Tooch thanks they are relaxing to turn. The kits are cigar pen kits. They are 10mm kits that take a Parker style cartrige.

In picture #5 that is a piece of plywood wrapped in siran wrap to release epoxied pen blank once dry. The writing is a layout of shop machines before moving for real to save my back.

Thanks. I was going for a different look on the top part of the pen and forgot about the size limitations of the case so the lid would not close until I modified it and used flocking to hide my tracks. Something it goes south fast but I was happy with the recovery.
