Well we had a few more Christmas Gifts to give out for extended family. Our cousins visited this past weekend and received their gifts so here they are.
The box was made to hold card games, of which they are huge fans of. It is made from Poplar and the sides are Kreg screwed in then filled using Walnut plugs, which matches nicely with the dark streak in the lid. The bottom of the lid is made to serve as a dice rolling tray.

The last pic shows another fun snowman display based off of Steve Carmichael’s design from a few Christmas back. I love making this little set and you can do all kinds of fun things with them. This one I decorated the tree using Sharpie markers and put each of their initials on it.

Still have one more gift I have to finish and give away and hope to find some time this weekend to work on it.

Hope everyone has a great week in and out of the shop.

Unique gifts Chris. Winter Wishing, that may be a catchy phrase although some people may not wish for it. LOL.

Very thoughtful gifts. I’ve always been a fan of hand made gifts because they require more thought and time than simply picking something up off a store shelf or clicking on it online.

The snowman display makes me smile a happy smile :+)

Thanks All.

doubleDD- The phrase fits well as they are now living in North Carolina but originally from Ohio and Illinois.

EarlS- fully agree

NormG- gotta say I like your catch phrase and it applies perfectly to the box. This was not its original design :)
