I saw this plan in a Family Handyman email, thought it was too cute to pass up. The plan had a tequila bottle and margarita glass but seeing has how tequila just simply does not agree with me, I opted for my go-to and even tho I do not drink martinis, saw the glass fitting for the vodka bottle. I customized it to the size of the bottle and glass I had to work with. I had the pieces dry fitted together and a friend stopped by and saw it and just had to have it for a relative of her’s for Christmas. Ok, no problem! I asked her what colors she would like it painted and these matched the porch furniture pillows the recipient has. The ‘bar stools’ are dowels with Absolute bottle caps epoxied on (yeah, had to empty 2 more bottles for that!). It’s put together with Titebond III and Kreg screws and some wood screws. Many coats of paint with a Spar-Urethane top coat. The bottle can be removed to fill with birdseed which fills up the martini glass, but is held securely in place by the corbels. It is all made from pine. The martini glass is held in place with mirror clips. Not sure how it will hold up over time outside but guess we’ll see! I’d like to build a few more == cheers! A fun build. :)
Thanks for looking!

The vodka bottle and martini glass was a great choice and those bar stools are crazy cool!
List of materials: pine boards, dowels, paint…and 3 bottles of vodka….pure genius Kim!

Thanks Tom – rule of thumb (or to keep thumbs) – no saw usage after vodka consumption LOL :)

Very clever. May have to make one, with slight variations for my preferred beverage.

Stellar job on the bird feeder…..Unique design, I must say…..great job….The birds will thank you for feeding them, and return often to eat…..!!
