Our new home doesn’t have a fireplace, so we needed a place to put our stockings for Christmas. The feet were hand carved, my first time trying to carve. I think it turned out ok (for a first timer lol). The theme was to be rustic, so it got a weathered paint job. It’s constructed entirely with pine and on the top, sits a 5.5” sphere that I found on amazon. All in all this project took me 3 days to complete… not too bad.

Very creative, love the candy cane design and light ball on top! Nice carving on the feet too.
