Birdseye Maple and Mahogany Computer Case

This was a computer that I built for my parents for Christmas. It’s relatively low powered hardware, and is used to run Plex so they can use it to record and watch TV shows. The front and top birdseye maple pieces have continuous grain around the corner, and the bottom platform is from mahogany. The rest of the chassis is plywood painted black, and semi-gloss clearcoat. Maple and Mahogany were finished with shellac and renaissance wax.

First glance thought that was a AC Fan :) Looks to nice to be associated with any metal or at least plastic?

Looks great. Simple and elegant. It’s on my list to make a mini-ITX build and design and build my own wooden case for it… Someday.
