Here is another truck.I wanted to do something different so I modified the plans and added a Detroit Diesel engine to it. I found the engine off the Sketchup warehouse website and modified it to my liking. The transmission is hand carved with a dremel. There were a lot of redo’s to this model to make everything jive. This model took me well over 2 months to make. So enjoy the pictures and tell me what you think. Cheers!

Looking good Jason. I like this model and with the engine it is even better. Well done. Very nice.

the attention to detail is the winning addition. The whole truck is awfully nice.

I must add – my experience with Detroit diesel was not all that good, leaked oil to all get out. Perhaps a Cummins would be a little more reliable – just sayin’

(lol lol )

Well, well well, WOW JASON.

You’ve certain made a first class model, the engine and the hinged bonnet are next level modeling;
plus the general detailing which is superb sir.

Top Marks!!
