Curly/Spalted Maple & Walnut.
Cupped inside with DonJer flocking.
Nice little bedside box for the missy.
Though about kicking out a few of these for wedding ring boxes. Anyone ever tried to sell such a product? Retail Price?

Beautiful little box. The maple and walnut choice is complementary. Size looks ‘just right’. The flocking makes the ring stand out well. I like the rounded edges and corners. Hinge size and color looks good. Nice project!

Small hinges form Amazon, they came with a hasp that did not get used. I like the hinges with screws as the nail on type do not stay out for long.

I’ve made a few ring boxes for couples for wedding gifts. Yours is super nice! Personally I think that if you approached a local based jeweler you could sell a lot on commission or whatever. If you search the internet there are all kinds of neat ring box ideas. I think it’s a great idea to try to sell them (particularly before christmas and valentines day). Have no idea on pricing though (might try looking at etsy.com).

Exceptional work, very nice grain on the maple, the contrast is perfect!
